On June 8th, 2013, Sisters Maria Therese and Marie Marta of the Sisters of Mary Queen of Mercy made their Final Profession of Vows, and Sister Cecilia Joseph made her First Profession of Vows at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. The Most Reverend James D. Conley was the main celebrant and homilist of the Mass, in which the two Final Professed Sisters received a ring, symbolizing their lifelong commitment and spousal relationship with the Lord, and the First Professed Sister received the blue veil of the Mary Queen of Mercy Sisters, as she begins her journey as a professed Sister.
reality that is beautiful beyond words, something the human mind cannot fathom, but yet Christ has invited them to be closer to Him, to serve Him with their whole being, by dedicating their life to Him.
We especially would like to thank everyone who has made this event special! Please keep praying for our three Sisters, but also for our community's vocations, that we may have more workers in the Lord's vineyard! Click here to see photos from the Profession Mass!
