![]() On Sunday, August 25th, we were happy to welcome Bishop James Conley to our Motherhouse to celebrate our community feast day, the Queenship of Mary, which is on August 22nd. Bishop Conley gave us a 30-minute spiritual conference before Mass, in which he emphasized how Christ's title as King of the Universe would make Mary rightfully Queen of Heaven and Earth, and how, as religious, Pope Francis' call of "Go, do not be afraid, and serve" should resound in our consecrated life. Mass celebrated by Bishop Conley that day, with Father Michael Zimmer as Master of Ceremonies, was absolutely beautiful. After Mass, Bishop and Father stayed with us for a delicious lunch prepared by the Sisters, along with Father Thomas MacLean, who joined in later. Before Bishop Conley made his way home, we sang "The Blessing of Aaron," invoking God's blessing on our guests present there. It was our first time singing that song to anyone, and he absolutely loved it! It was truly a blessing to celebrate our community's feast day with our Shepherd, and we thank him and everyone who have been praying for our little community as we prepared to celebrate our community feast day. May Mary, Queen of Heaven and Earth shower an abundance of blessings on you and your families!
