Sometimes you wonder, what do the Sisters do all day? Pray, pray, and well, pray? That's just one of the (more obvious) things we do in religious life, but balanced with community life and our various apostolate works, our daily lives are turned into a grand symphony to make music to the Lord and proclaim His love to the world.
Here is what a typical day in the life of a CMRM Sister looks like:
5:30 a.m. - Rising
5:50 a.m. - Morning prayers, Lauds, meditation
6:45 a.m. - The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass
7:30 a.m. - Depart to our various apostolates
(Little Flower Childcare Center, teaching in the diocesan schools, etc)
*Evening- Sisters return from apostolates*
6:15 p.m. - Vespers, Rosary and Benediction
7:00 p.m. - Dinner
7:30 - 9:15 p.m. - Free time, study, community time
9:15 p.m. - Scripture sharing
9:30 p.m. - Compline (followed by Grand Silence)
10:30 p.m. - Rest
On the weekends, we serve in the Religious Education program of the local Vietnamese parishes, gather for an evening of community recreation time to relax after a long week of work, and rest on the Lord's Day to praise and thank Him for His goodness to us all.
