"Our purpose in entering this community is to sanctify ourselves and to save souls."

OUR CHARISMOur Sisters live the charism of the Evangelical Spiritual Childhood. This spirituality is centered on Jesus Himself as He said: "I am the Way" (John 14:6), and "Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the Kingdom of Heaven" (Matthew 18:3).
This spirit consists of living out the privilege to be children of God as Jesus expressed His filial love to God the Father and to His Mother. Pope Pius XI said, "The spirit of Evangelical Spiritual Childhood consists of feeling and acting in the domain of virtues just like a child's feeling and acting in the natural domain." |
OUR INSPIRATIONS
We find examples to live our charism in the Evangelical Spiritual Childhood of Saint Thérèse of the Child Jesus, and also in the True Devotion to Mary according to Saint Louis Marie Grignion de Montfort.
PLACED UNDER THE CARE OF HEAVEN
The Queenship of the Blessed Virgin Mary is the Principal Patroness of our Congregation. Mary is honored as the Mother Superior and Mother of our Congregation.
|
Saint Joseph is honored as the Steward of our Congregation. Each Sister has entrusted themselves to Saint Joseph in all their spiritual and temporal needs.

OUR HABIT
Our religious habit is a sign of holy consecration, and is a witness to the virtue of poverty in a public way and to the common life.
We have two types of habits: the formal religious habit and the informal religious habit. The formal religious habit consists of a modest dark navy blue dress with a dark navy blue veil, the symbol of the Congregation pinned on the left, and for the perpetually professed Sister, a simple ring worn on her left ring finger, as a sign of her perpetual spousal relationship with God. The novice would have a white veil. The informal religious habit consists of black pants, a short modest dress in light blue, and a dark navy blue veil for the Professed Sister, or a white veil for the novice. We wear the informal religious habit within the boundaries of the Mother house at all times except for the times of performing or receiving the Holy Sacraments, the Holy Mass, Benediction, and praying the Liturgical Hours. |
